The Theory - Medium Theory SMT

Space Is Not Empty. It Is a Physical Medium.

Medium Theory SMT is an attempt to reconstruct fundamental physics — starting not from particles, not from abstract fields, but from one simple idea:

space is a real nonlinear medium Φ.

If so, then:

— matter is stable configurations of this medium

— radiation is its waves

— gravity is the energy gradient of the medium

— rotation is vortex structures

— the cosmic background is a stationary state of the medium

— and galactic dynamics follow from its nonlinear response.

What SMT Does

SMT introduces no new “invisible entities” to explain observed effects.

It attempts to show that:

— flat galactic rotation curves,

— the Tully–Fisher relation

— critical acceleration

— background radiation

— energy relaxation

— the structure of gravitational interaction

may all follow from the properties of one medium.

Key Principle

The energy of the system “matter + medium” is minimized.

Gravity is not action at a distance. It is motion toward a more energetically favorable configuration of the medium.

How SMT Differs

SMT does not begin with:

— the Big Bang as an established fact

— dark matter as a required entity

— dark energy as an axiom

It begins with measurements — and builds a model of the medium capable of reproducing them.

If the model fails verification — it is rejected.

Structure

The theory develops as a corpus of research:

— Core — the fundamental structure of medium Φ — Research — individual testable directions — Methodology — explicit falsification criteria — Cosmology — without appeal to unverified premises

Every document is published openly as a preprint.

Why This Matters

21st century physics has hit fundamental walls:

— Why do galaxies rotate the way they do?

— What is gravity, really?

— Why does background radiation exist?

— Why is the world stable from the quark scale to the cosmological scale?

SMT proposes a unified physical mechanism instead of a collection of independent hypotheses.

This Is Not a Final Truth

This is a research program.

Its value lies not in claiming “we are right” — but in being:

— logically consistent

— internally coherent

— falsifiable

— built from a single physical principle
